The Grammy award-winning singer was due to perform in London, Manchester, Zurich, Koln, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Paris, Cologne, Berlin, and Rio in the upcoming weeks.
Lady Gaga apologised to her fans in an emotional statement posted on Twitter, saying ‘I love this show more than anything, and I love you, but this is beyond my control.’
She also said, ‘If I don’t do this, I am not standing by the words and meaning of my music’, and she went on to say, ‘I need to put myself and my well-being first’.
